Sewer backups from tree root intrusion
Why it happens here
Most Reseda homes built in the 1950s have clay or cast-iron sewer laterals. Roots from mature street trees find the joints, crack them, and block the line. After a heavy rain, the blockage pushes sewage into the lowest drain in the house.
Our approach
We treat every backup as contaminated. Crews extract the water, remove saturated carpet padding and drywall, disinfect with EPA-registered products, and dry the structure. We document the loss for insurance and tell you if the lateral needs a camera inspection.
